I see that today I am very productive and eager to share my thoughts with you, guys :)
the past weekend was very productive, as well as all the previous ones. While here I try to spend every day with some purpose, see something do, learn something new :) considering the fact that it's not in Moscow. I can't say that I've travelled half of the globe, But I've been in several in many countries and can compare them, though I think it is silly to compare something. You will always find some pluses and minuses in everything and everywhere. But there are places in the world that really belong to you. Have you ever had a feeling that you feel yourself as if you are at home? well something like this happens with me in Moscow. My first meeting with this city happened 7 years ago and it was the time when I fell in love with it, last year me and my mom visited some friends here. And I've alwasy wanted to live here, or stay for a bit longer than I did. And this year eventually I've got this chance :) It's hard to answer what particularly makes me love this city, but there's "chemistry" between us for sure :) and while here, I feel that I'm falling into it even more :P As if I'm talking about a guy, funny though :P
so, I feel myself very comfortable here and feel sad that I have to leave soon. how beautiful is the architecture here, you should see it, people are so interesting here, they have their own particular thing in everything, their style, and I love it :) the city itself is very intellectual, it seems that every building, street breathes history. Famous people that lived several centuries lived here, went to universities, schools. They still preserve houses of famous writers poets, scientists etc in the very centre of the city. You can observe old buildings living in the neighbourhood with modern edgy skyscrapers called Moscow City. red square is situated in the very heart of the city and awareness that you live in the city where so many historical events took place, about which you have read in the books, gives you amazing feeling. You feel yourself a part of something big. Kazakhstan, my motherland, used to be a part of soviet Union, as well as Russia. So these two countries have a lot of in common, we've been brought up watching movies and listening to music from Moscow and now I have the cnahce to be in the places that I have seen in the movies :) this is awesome. There a lot of saint places here, churches, monasteries here.
We have been lately to the female monastery in the middle of Moscow. It is amazing how in stone jungles you can hide in yhe most quiet place and have time for yourself. That what makes this city special, ability to coincide different things. So, the monastery was really amazing, Priests, pops and deaconesses were there. People praying and newlyweds coming there to marry. So romantic, overall there are a lot of romantic places here. And what is more interesting everybody can find a place that will satisfy him, because there is avariety of them. Different cuisines, designs, prices, so no matter what taste you have, you will be satisfied, whetehr you prefer a simple place or a fancy one, or something in the middle:) also there are a lot of cultural places here, theatres, endless shows and exhibitions, you wnat to be a part of. you will NEVR be bored in Moscow, even just strolling down the wharf :) alwasy you enrich culturally and intellectually. the only thing that I regret is that I don't have enough time to enjoy all the places. but that is ok even people in Moscwo say that they have a long list of sighseeing sthat are worth seeing :)
